Our Community of Learning Circles

The Alright Gang

We are a group of 4 students who bonded at a Clearing the Lens retreat in June of 2019 and started a Learning Circle to stay connected. We are a virtual group as 2 of us are in MT and 2 are in CA. In our meetings we check-in, discuss our lives and personal matters that are up for us, usually do some type of Shamata or Tonglen, and close with setting intentions for the next 2 weeks.

This Learning Circle is currently full. If you are interested in starting a Learning Circle, we would love to help you! Please reach out to us at info@namchak.org.

Fords Namchak Learning Circle

Fords, NJ
Are you looking for a way to connect with like-minded individuals and get into a regular meditation practice to relieve stress and be more mindful? Do you have a deep yearning to know more about the real meaning of our daily lives? If you answered yes to either of these two questions, this group is for you.

This is a secular group open to all. For purposes of a structure, we will use fundamental concepts from Tibetan Buddhist teaching, specifically the Namchak lineage to learn and practice meditation. A typical event will consist of shared activities where we learn and practice in a spirit of togetherness. Shared activities typically include a check-in with each member on the past week, a discussion on a book that we have read as a group, and meditation. All members are welcome to contribute ideas for our common good.
